In contrast, Johannes Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1 in B Major brings sweeping scale and emotional depth, from its soaring lyricism to its dramatic intensity, culminating in a powerful and exhilarating finale. Complementing these pillars of the program are virtuosic and characterful works by Robert Schumann and Reinhold Glière, creating a richly varied and engaging musical experience.

This performance features an outstanding ensemble of artists: pianist Fenia Chang, violinist Lucas Aleman, and cellist Zexun Shen—accomplished performers whose musical sensitivity and virtuosity bring these masterpieces vividly to life.
