May 17, 2026 Season Finale Concert for Full Orchestras and Chamber

The Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra (DAAYO)’s May 17th, 2026 concert will feature our Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra and Chamber Ensembles.

Time: 6:30 – 8:30PM
This our season finale concert for the string orchestras, so come join us for a fun evening of music – a great outing for the whole family, and you can show your support for local young musicians!
This concert will feature student soloist Ethan Kim (winner of our 2026 concerto competition) performing Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85, mvt.1 with our Symphony Orchestra.
Conductors Matthew Moreno (Symphony), Julie Blackstock (Philharmonic) conduct our full orchestras.
Our chamber ensemble coaches are Nathan Olson, Daphne Volle and Jimin Lim.
